About this map

The Florida Keys stretch about 120 miles from Key Largo down to Key West, linked by the Overseas Highway and its 42 bridges. Just offshore, the Florida Reef runs alongside them, a living coral reef found nowhere else in the continental US.

This map of the Florida Keys is built from Baltic Birch, one layer for every depth contour, and finished with UV-printed place names, labels and fine detail. A fitted frame of solid wood completes it.

Good to know

Is this a print?

The depth is real: Baltic birch layers cut by laser, one for each depth contour. Labels, place names and fine detail are added with UV color printing, and the map comes in a fitted solid wood frame.

Inside every Lake Chart map

The depth is built up in wood, not printed on top.

  • A layer for each depth

Each contour line on the depth chart is cut as a separate piece of Baltic birch.

  • Cut by laser

A laser cuts every shoreline, island and contour, so the edges stay crisp.

  • Printed in color

Labels, place names and fine detail are added with UV color printing.

  • Framed

A fitted solid wood frame finishes the piece.
